All About Ocular Hypertension

Ocular pressure refers to any situation in which intraocular pressure inside the eye is higher than normal pressure. Normal eye pressure starts from 10 mm Hg and ranges up to 21mm Hg. It is an eye condition in which eye pressure is more than 21 mm Hg.

It is a condition which suits the following criteria:

  • The optic nerve looks normal
  • There are no symptoms of glaucoma that are evident on visual field testing. It is test to evaluate your side vision or peripheral.
  • When intraocular pressure is more than 21 mm Hg in one or both the eyes on more than two occasions
  • Moreover, there are no signs of any ocular disease.
